America was founded on the idea all Americans have certain inalienable rights, among them life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as stated in the Declaration of Independence. These rights were further enshrined in the Bill of Rights and attached to the Constitution as the first ten amendments. These rights include freedom of speech and the freedom of assembly.
The basic wisdom of these rights is that the collective of society is best served when individuals have freedom from tyranny. We need government for certain purposes, but it must be carefully limited so that the inalienable rights and individual freedoms are not oppressed. The founders of America had just come from living under tyranny and they wanted to create a new form of limited government to avoid that.
Our economy is founded on these rights as well, and we find that freedom in the realm of economic choices contributes to freedom of thought in the marketplace of ideas. In this way, both products and ideas are competing for supremacy within the marketplace of those who have freedom of choice. This is the public at large and we trust the collective wisdom of the people (exercised through individual choice) to decide what is best. When everyone is free to choose and the competing ideas or products are all on equal footing, then we get the best choices and the most good for the largest number. The founders understood this wisdom.
The Situation Today
But today there are forces that seek unfair advantage for the benefit of special interests. Through various institutional controls, these competitors silence the free exchange of ideas and constrain the choices available to those who choose. We see this clearly in the realm of health choices today. Who hasn't come face to face with all the economic, legal, and governmental forces that want to limit our health care choices and the information made available to us? It certainly feels sinister when you have this experience.
Here at Freedom Health Alliance we still believe the public is smart enough and wise enough to make the best choices for themselves and their families. It is through the many individuals exercising free choice that a collective wisdom emerges. But when special interests take control, to limit the choices and constrains the information, then the whole system is corrupted for their benefit, to the detriment of the public. This is tyranny.
If you are reading these words, you are probably well aware of the many corruptions limiting options and information available for personal health choices. These corruptions and limitations appear to be backed by the full weight of virtually every institution in our world. Maybe you have witnessed the many attacks against providers of alternative health information and products. Governments and other forces seem to be doing everything they can to eliminate competing alternatives in health care.
With a view to these realities, we want to take the high road and do our best to provide superior products within the existing system and rules. It won't do any good for us to provoke the powers that be or leave ourselves open to their attacks.
Our approach will be to provide exceptional products to the marketplace that will speak for themselves. Well satisfied customers are the best form of marketing. In addition, we will target those like ourselves who value freedom of choice and accept responsibility for becoming self-educated. The message in today's world is: it is up to us to educate ourselves and exercise our own right to choose, or it will be done for us by those in authority.
We affirm the individual free choice of every person who visits our site. Whether you decide to become a customer or not, is your choice based on your own investigation. If you agree with our approach, we encourage you to join our cause and buy our products that you believe will benefit you. As our company grows we will expand our line to offer more choices.
